A Closer Look at the Coming Meeting, Friday, September 15th:
- We will start by debating a joke resolution and cover the Three Points.
Highlights of Past Years:
Matt (paraphrased): Countries with nukes are doing fine. North Korea has had a stable dictatorship for over 50 years and
Georgia has not had an assasinated government official for over 4.
Matt (paraphrased to Vatican Holy See's request for peace and replying that they had nothing to do with the hippy mentality,
and then facing a right of reply): Catholic, hippie - same thing.
Sarah: Hey those are the Protestants.
Highlights of the year:
Adam (paraphrased): Weapons of mass destruction? Outright stupidity? All good reasons to vote in favour of this resolution!
Matt (paraphrased): There is a grave injustice - a great atrocity that must be abolished. (paces about before the screen)
And that (paces a little more) is this clause right here!
Sarah: Hey Georgia, people are starving in your country; shouldn't you eat your pizza crusts?
Matt: The people in my country will stop starving when I tell them to stop starving.
Matt: bangs shoe on table to catches attention
Sarah: Point of Information - did the delegate from Georgia suddenly mistake himself for the former leader of the
USSR?
