January 14, 2006
Reports from MI6 have confirmed that the nuclear weapon test conducted by the Democratic People’s
Republic of Korea on January 14, 2006 was indeed successful. Kim Jong Il, in an address to his citizens
today, claims to have around 10,000 stockpiled nuclear weapons, around the same number the United States of America has. Despite all the economic
sanctions placed by the United Nations, Kim Jong Il is still continuing production. In addition, the dictator has now gone
on to state that he hopes his new weaponry will “liberate the world from the clutches of capitalism and reunite all
countries under the just banner of communism.”
In response to this, the United States
of America has also recommenced production, igniting a nuclear arms
race between the United States and North Korea.
